Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) is a complex condition with symptoms that can vary greatly from person to person. Whilst it can be an unpredictable condition, there are a number of ways IBS can be managed so that sufferers may minimise the impact their symptoms have on day-to-day life.
Healthcare professionals including, pharmacists, nurses, GPs, dieticians, nutritionists and health visitors have an important role in helping sufferers to understand the condition and educating them on self-management techniques. We have put together a range of resources, both for the continuing education of healthcare professionals and materials that can help sufferers learn more about their condition. The information in this section of the website is educational material for qualified healthcare professionals only. |
